How we do it!

SuperGreen is a small agile company allowing us to innovate as fast as the market moves. This speed creates an environment where we can test new technologies rapidly, and adopt them into our process if they are worthy of our high standards.
Below you can check out some of the great things we are doing and testing to help the environment.

We purchase our wood from smith&fong who are the industry leaders in producing sustainable eco-friendly bamboo.
They are US Green Building certified, Forest Stewardship Council certified, Floor Score certified, and Indoor Advantage Gold certified. What does all that mean? It ensures that the bamboo we make our skateboards is created without toxins and grown and harvested in a environmentally friendly and sustainable way.

Technical Spec: The world's fasting growing SuperGreen plant, it takes only 5 years for a stalk to mature, compared to 100 for maple. It is also an excellent converter of CO2, converting more than 8 times that of trees. Bamboo is an amazing 17% harder than standard maple, making this one excellent material for long boards.

The Glue

Dedicated to making a usually very toxic process green, entropy resins are the choice for SuperGreen Boards. The glue is manufactured in a environmentally friendly way and still has AMAZING adherence properties. Unlike other brands you don't have to worry about delam with a SuperGreen Board.

We use two types of fiberglass depending on the weight and height of the rider. We use reclaimed fiberglass that was headed to the trash can, but one mans trash is another mans treasure. Or we also use a fiberglass alternative. Woven Bamboo Fiberglass is an amazing substance that creates an amazing stiffness in the boards.

Reduce Reuse Recycle! SuperGreen uses every scrap of wood from the boards to make the riserpads. We recycle packaging materials, and dumpster dive as often as possible to build the presses.

Even our website is hosted at a carbon neutral company. Powered by wind the servers are Green and helping the environment even when we are sleeping.
